The DRA has received notice of  an application from Smiths Pub (Quality Inn Downtown, 850 Blanshard Street).

The 104-seat capacity pub is asking for a change in the end of liquor service. Currently it is 11:00h to 01:00h seven days a week. They are requesting 11:00h to 01:00 Sunday to Thursday and 11:00h to 2:00h Friday and Saturday.

In short, they want an extra hour to serve alcohol on Friday and Saturday.

The City and the DRA would like your opinion on this application. E-mail the City at liquorlicense@victoria.ca by December 14. Note that all responses form part of the public record.
