Wednesday, April 16th is National Canadian Film Day and to celebrate we will be hosting a free outdoor movie night under the Johnson Street Bridge. Join us at 8 pm under the east side of the bridge for screenings of Lekwungen: Place to Smoke Herring and the award-winning feature-length documentary film Singing Back the Buffalo.
We are honored to be joined by TEALIYE/Brianna Bear, who will welcome attendees to Lekwungen Territory. Free hot beverages will be provided, so bring your own reusable mug.

Accessibility details:
*The film will be screened under the east (Downtown) side of the Johnson Street Bridge. The space is accessible by stairs from Janion Square on the north side of the bridge or by sidewalk on the south side of Johnson Street.
*There will be folding chairs available but if you are able to bring your own lawn chair or something else to sit on, please do.
*There is no washroom on site and the closest public washroom open at that time of day is at Centennial Square.
*There is paid parking in the Yates Street Parkade, as well as a few spots in a small lot beside the Northern Junk buildings (just south of the bridge) and on Store Street between Pandora and Johson (on the west side of Market Square).
We encourage those who are able to walk, cycle or take public transit to the event. The closest bus stops are on Wharf at Yates (routes 14 and 15), on Johnson at Wharf (routes 10, 24 and 25), and on Pandora between Government and Store (routes 14, 15, 24 and 25).
