Earlier this year the Downtown Residents Association, in collaboration with Wiser Projects, invited residents to offer their hopes and dreams for the future of the Downtown neighbourhood. This was done through an in-person event and an online survey, in preparation for the City of Victoria's revision of the Official Community Plan. The report below summarizes what we heard from the community and also integrates input from the DRA's board of directors and professional planning advice from staff at Wiser Projects. We held an information session on September 24th to present our findings back to the community and the report will be presented to members of City Council in the coming weeks.
