Free Naloxone Training - Aug. 11

Updated: Aug 12, 2022

Would you know what to do if you encountered someone experiencing a toxic drug poisoning? One hour of your time could help you save a life.

Join the Victoria Downtown Residents Association and SOLID Outreach for a free Naloxone Training. Learn how to identify the signs of a toxic drug poisoning and administer Naloxone. Free refreshments will be provided.

To reserve your spot, visit the www.eventbrite.ca/e/naloxone-training-tickets-393392777387. Capacity is limited, so please only register if you are sure that you will be able to attend.

This training is provided free of charge, but donations to support SOLID's ongoing programming will be gratefully accepted at the event.

Accessibility details: The training will take place inside the Yates Street Community Garden, accessed through a wide gate and gravel pathways. If you have questions or concerns about accessibility at the event, please email us at engage@victoriadra.ca.

The closest bus stop (routes 3, 11, 14, 15, 22, 24 and 25) is on the north side of Yates, just west of Cook (approximately 100 metres east of the garden). There is street parking on Yates right in front of the garden.
