Historic Neighbourhood Walking Tour

This June the DRA will be hosting a Historic Walking Tour of the Victoria Neighbourhood.  There is so much history in the downtown area that we thought we’d give you the opportunity to choose a route or topic (maximum 3 choices).  The most popular route will be chosen for the walking tour and further details will be posted on our Events page.


What topic/route would you be interested in?


  1. Government Street (from Inner Harbour to Chinatown) (21%, 3 Votes)

  2. Scandals, Saloons and Sex (mostly 500-600 block Johnson Street) (21%, 3 Votes)

  3. Rum Runners and Opium Smugglers (Centennial Square to Bastion Square) (21%, 3 Votes)

  4. Douglas Street (from Empress Hotel to the Hudson) (14%, 2 Votes)

  5. Wharf Street/Inner Harbour (7%, 1 Votes)

  6. Chinatown (7%, 1 Votes)

  7. Fort Street (from Wharf Street to Quadra St.) (7%, 1 Votes)

  8. Humboldt Valley (from Inner Harbour to St. Ann’s Academy) (0%, 0 Votes)

  9. Church Hill (mostly around Pioneer Square and Christ Church Cathedral Precinct) (0%, 0 Votes)
