The Yates Street Community Garden is hiring a new Garden Coordinator. The Coordinator provides administrative support to the Garden and Steering Committee. The position is a part-time fee-for-a-service contract position with flexible hours. The rate of pay is $833.33 per month. The initial term is one year with the possibility of extension subject to funding and Garden direction (assessed in the spring each year). There are no set hours for this position, but the current Coordinator works approximately 5 to 15 hours per week, depending on the season. The work is primarily from home, but the incumbent must attend meetings, events, and volunteer functions in person several times monthly.
