Johnson St. Bridge Updated Landscape Plan

The City of Victoria is expecting to receive an updated landscape plan from the landscape architect.  Earlier in the summer, the City consulted the public to seek input on the public realm elements of the Johnson Street Bridge Replacement Project. Over 200 people attended the sessions in June and July.  The sessions were designed to gain feedback from the community and demonstrate how it influenced the project design.  The LUC received a letter from the City on the changes made after public input.

These changes included additional sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, plaza amenities, traffic calming measures and naturalized landscaping including exposed bedrock. The closing date for the RFP has now moved to October 18, which has allowed for some additional time.  To see the official PDF report click below.
