The Downtown Residents Association was invited to make suggestions about how Council and the City might better support neighbourhood associations. A summary of the items that we suggested follows:
Regularly scheduled in-person meetings with the Mayor and Council
Regularly scheduled in-person meetings with the various heads of City Departments
Earlier and more effective consultation
Assistance in DRA outreach efforts
Resources to address equity issues
Neighbourhood Engagement
