Updated: Oct 18, 2021

The Downtown Residents Association was invited to make suggestions about how Council and the City might better support neighbourhood associations. A summary of the items that we suggested follows:

  • Regularly scheduled in-person meetings with the Mayor and Council

  • Regularly scheduled in-person meetings with the various heads of City Departments

  • Earlier and more effective consultation

  • Assistance in DRA outreach efforts

  • Resources to address equity issues

  • Neighbourhood Engagement
