The City of Victoria embarked on a governance review process and invited neighbourhood associations (NAs) and others to make submissions. In its submission, the DRA has identified a number of issues respecting the City’s Governance Review specific to our organization. We concluded that the review should include a strong recommendation for a consultative process to develop formal terms of reference to support NAs in effectively representing their residents to Council and to ensure that the City is effectively supporting the NAs to do that.
