You may have noticed the addition of our new boulevard garden located just outside the gate of the front entrance. A big thanks to our group of volunteer gardeners who helped turn the sod, wheel in compost and fill the space with flowers for the bees in honor of pollinator week. The garden is filled with native pollinator plants from Saanich Native Plants. By planting native plants we hope to expand our garden ecosystem to attract native bees, which help with biodiversity and food sustainability at our garden and within the city.
